Each event in this series will highlight recipes from a featured cookbook, both past and present, with the chef or author occasionally joining us in the kitchen as well. We look forward to sharing the recipes from these amazing chefs and authors with you.
Cookbook Dinner & Celebration at The Shell
Celebrate the release of the newest cookbook from acclaimed Hawaiian chef, author, and Top Chef fan favorite Sheldon Simeon with a special one-night-only dinner experience in Washington, DC.
Hosted at The Shell—the culinary event space from The Fried Rice Collective—this intimate Cookbook Club–style dinner will feature a multi-course menu inspired by the flavors and stories from Sheldon’s latest book. Throughout the evening, Chef Simeon will share insights into the recipes, his culinary journey, and the spirit of Hawaiian cooking that defines his work.
Each guest will enjoy a chef-curated dining experience and receive a copy of the cookbook to take home, making the evening both a celebration of great food and a chance to connect with one of today’s most exciting voices in modern Hawaiian cuisine.
By day, the space operates as I Egg You, and by night it transforms into a venue for chef collaborations, special dinners, and unique culinary events like this one.
